Combination of Farm/Ranch and Food Service Help - Hot Springs, SD
I have a uniques opportunity where work is split between my farmstead and an ice cream shop//bistro I have in town. We have yaks, llamas, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys and possibly sheep this year. We also grow fruits and vegetables in a small food forest, greenhouse and high tunnel. Farm work includes daily chores, special projects, moving animals and occasional chicken processing. We also will be a the farmers market June through October. The store in town is where most of our food products go. It is a farm to fork bistro as well as an ice cream shop (where we make our own ice cream). Help there includes customer service (scooping ice cream, making shakes and sundaes) as well as kitchen help if you have the skills.
I supply living quarters and food in exchange for 20 hours weekly per person farm work, and the work at the shop is paid at prevailing wages levels for our town - $12 to $15 hourly after tips.
