Caretaker(s)/Property Manager(s) - Shreveport, LA

Long established Shreveport, Louisiana area fishing and hunting club (125 acres, plus 75-acre lake) seeks live-on-property caretaker(s).

Requirements: Valid drivers license, ability to pass thorough background check, legally able to work in the U.S., no criminal background, and must read, write, and speak English.

Duties of the caretaker position include the following: Maintenance of common areas of the club's grounds (mowing, weed-eating, providing firewood, maintaining fencing, debris removal, etc. Maintenance and housekeeping of two clubhouses on the property.

Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and light construction helpful.

Must be on the property and available six days a week.

Compensation and benefit details: Annual salary, $24,000.00. Housing (newly constructed) with appliances (no furniture) will be provided. A $500.00 damage deposit will be required. Caretaker to pay utilities other than water. Monthly cell phone allowance: $75.00. In addition to the annual salary, the caretaker will be compensated for cleaning the camps after each rental (large camp $60.00; small camp $40.00). The caretaker also has the potential to augment his compensation with income working directly for members who own houses (8 privately owned houses).
