Caretaker(s) for small acreage in the lovely Texas hill country - Boerne/Comfort, TX

This is a permanent caretaker in TRADE for house and utilities position.  It is best suited for a retired pentioner or veteran couple with steady outside income.  The position requires approximately 20+ working hours per week in exchange for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. 

There will be some heavy lifting (50lbs or better) required as well as other physical labor such as cleaning a small number of stalls and yard maintenance and light fencing repair duties.  Knowledge of farm machinery and maintenance is helpful, but not a deal breaker if people are willing to learn.  Animal experience, especially with horses and goats, is a huge plus.  Caretakers should not expect many vacation days, especially during the holidays, but short term visitors are welcome.  The responsibilites are enjoyable and the setting is lovely, but approximately 45min to 1 hour morning and evening EVERY DAY will be required to care for the animals.  Applicant should also be willing to put in approximately 1 solid half day per week of labor consisting of various farm tasks.  Good communication skills and an organized, self starter personality are very much appreciated.
