Caretakers for home and dog - Rockville, MD

We are looking for a couple to be caretakers for our home and our dog. In exchange for your flexibility and availability, we offer a rent-free single-family home adjacent to our backyard.

This position would include the housecleaning of our home, laundry, pool cleaning in the summertime and most importantly, loving care for our dog when we are at home or away. We are a retired couple looking for some freedom to do some light traveling, golfing, etc. The couple selected for this position must have some outside income and be available for dog care on a regular basis. In other words, one person would be at home most of the time and not have outside employment or other responsibilities that would keep them from being available to us. We are looking for a couple to be with us long term. Retired teachers or retired military are encouraged. This would not be a job for a couple just starting out their lives together.
