Lakes of the North Association is looking for a year round campground manager for 160 campground sites, storage, propane filling station and small retail area. This position comes with housing and a competitive wage. Sites are rented on a daily, weekly, monthly or seasonal basis (Summer and Winter).
GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Campground Manager is responsible for the general operations of the campground, including general upkeep of facilities, registration of campers and collection of fees and moving of recreational vehicles.

SPECIFIC POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1. The general operations of the campground
2. Collection of all camping, storage and other fees
3. Registration, documentation and verification of membership card and ID of everyone using the campground and/or storage area.
4. Enforcement of all campground rules
5. General repairs, maintenance and cleanliness of bathhouses, pavilion, office and garage
6. Accounting and delivery of all revenues to the management office
7. Record complaints and suggestions and report them to the General Manager
8. Recognize and report deficiencies or safety hazards to the General Manager
9. Update and maintain bulletin board
10. Hire, train, supervise and dismiss other campground staff
11. Trailer spotting to and from storage and to the sanitary station
12. Prepare an operating budget
13. Work with Association Maintenance department on scheduling of needed maintenance
14. Provide friendly, courteous member services
15. Assist with Campground Activities Committee with recreational activities if necessary
16. Provide a monthly campground report
DAILY CAMPGROUND ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Check campground for new campers
2. Register campers and collect and record fees
3. Move trailers if necessary
4. Inspect and clean the buildings
5. Inspect and clean the grounds
6. Close lids on dumpsters and move trash
7. Staff designated office hours
8. Answer questions and return phone calls
QUALIFICATIONS:
General knowledge of campground operations, computer skills, general maintenance knowledge, preferred skills in trailer spotting, and a positive and friendly personality. Knowledge of Jonas software program a plus.
DESIRABLE PREPARATION FOR WORK: High school graduate with advanced education and/or experience in business administration a plus.
