Live the Lake Life. Our Campground in beautiful Detroit Lakes, MN is looking for a campground manager.
Detroit Lakes is located about 45 miles east of Fargo, ND in beautiful Minnesota Lakes Country. There are more than 400 lakes within 25 miles and the campground is across the street from the city mile long beach on Little Detroit Lake. It is truly an outdoor enthusiast’s playground with water sports, golfing, biking and so much more. The Summer and Fall are full of local events with a full slate of bars and restaurants for every taste.
The campground is adjacent to the American Legion Post 15 and has 148 sites. 115 sites are seasonal with the remaining 33 as short-term rentals. Seasonal sites have Cable TV, WiFi, with short-term sites having concrete pads and WiFi. We operate a small store that also serves as the rental office. The campground is open from May 1 – September 30 each year.
Ideal candidates should have a heart for guest service and love for the outdoors. The ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, holidays, and weekends. A team player(s) that will add to a fun collaborative environment.
Open Positions
Campground Manager
The campground manager is responsible for the overall management of the property and operations. This includes but is not limited to managing store inventory, ensuring that the campground is well maintained and generating monthly financial reports, maintaining financial records and supervising employees. Campground Master software experience preferred, but not necessary. We are very flexible with scheduling and time off allowing you to enjoy the amenities. Compensation based on experience and along with a full-service site.
Workcamper
Workcamper position is responsible for duties such as working in the store, taking phone calls and making reservations. Light maintenance duties may include mowing, delivering firewood, helping guests park their units and overall maintenance of the campground. Campground Master software experience preferred, but not necessary. This position includes a full-service site.
