We are looking for an experienced, energetic manager for our RV Park located in Cathedral City, California. Our RV Park is comprised of 128+ sites, rental trailers, swimming pool, club house, dog park, pickleball court and restrooms with shower facilities.
We are seeking a manager that is a effective communicator with great people skills, have knowledge/experience in all areas of the hospitality industy and is able to work weekends, holidays and or evenings as required. We encourage all of those who enjoy working in a fun environment at a high quality campground where guests come to vacation to submit an application today. Manager will be required to live onsite in the RV park; however, manager will have to provide their own RV. This is a salaried position which will be negotiated with the successful applicant during the hiring process.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
*Greet and check in customers
*Taking Reservations and Payment
*Respond to Inquiries and solve problems
*Manage the resources and assets of the property, including staff, buildings and other assets
*Establish and prioritize daily maintenence work to be completed
*Ensure completion of routine maintenence and minor emergency repairs
*Participate in the selection of contractual services
*Maintain inventory of equipment, tools and supplies
*Purchase supplies, equipment and services while adhering to budget guidlines
*Make regular inspections of the guests sites
*Issue rule reminders and violation notices, and follow-up as needed
*Assist accounting upper management with aspects of general bookkeeping, account receivables and accounts payable tracking, cash flow management
*Manage human resource functions, such as hiring and training staff
*Organize park sponsored functions
*Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
*Experience in RV tourism is an asset
*You must be hard working, reliable and focused on providing exceptional customer service
*You must he highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
*High school diploma or GED
*Previous management experience a plus
*Valid drivers license and good driving record
*General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electical, pool maintenence and grounds maintenence
*Understanding of basic bookkeeping
*Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications, and other web based applications including email, financial systems
*Knowledge of RMS (reservation management software) a plus
