Campground Manager (or Couple) - Plantersville, TX

The Texas Renaissance Festival seeks a highly qualified manager for the Fields of New Market, our 200 acre camping facility adjacent to the Festival grounds.  The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest Renaissance theme park, located in Todd Mission, Texas, about an hour north of Houston, open eight weekends in October and November. The Fields of New Market Campground welcomes over 25,000 visitors annually during the Festivals 8 weekend season

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, team oriented, committed, personable, with   experience in facilities management. Will consider a couple working together.

                                                                             
JOB DESCRIPTION:

·  Oversee campground operations including:

• Grounds
• Security
• Traffic Control
• Camp Store
• Recreational and Service Facilities

·  Manage Campground Staff

·  Responsible for Collection and Reporting of all Campground Revenue Sources

·  Innovative and Improvement Oriented with ideas on how to improve existing facilities and customer experience

·  Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate:
• Non-smoker
• Will have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience

• Must be highly energetic and enthusiastic

• Must be a team player

• Must have experience with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)

• Should be positive, outgoing and be results oriented

• Must be able to multitask

• Must have excellent time management skills and ability to organize tasks
• Should be highly motivated and comfortable working independently

• Must have great customer service skills
