The Campground Attendant is a very important role of making our campgrounds thrive!
As a team we work together to ensure that our campground guests are having a fun visit and that includes the doing the following tasks:
Front Desk:
- Book and manage reservations using our cloud-based park management system
- Assist guests throughout the duration of their stay
- Follow specific cash and credit card handling procedures and properly use the computer, cash register, credit card and various other front desk equipment
- Provide to guests’ information about local attractions, restaurants, services, etc.
- Ensure proper communication with maintenance and other crews as necessary
- Handle daily, weekly and monthly stocking and cleaning duties as requested by manager
- Other duties as to help fellow teammates
Housekeeping:
- Clean and tidy all areas and accommodations to the standard cleanliness within time limits
- Assist guests throughout the duration of their stay
- Ensure housekeeping projects do not interfere with guests’ use of facilities and amenities
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Maintain appropriate levels of consumables to run the housekeeping program
- Conduct facilities and accommodation inspections routinely to ensure cleanliness and proper function
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Act in line with any company and licensing laws
- Ensure proper communication with maintenance and other crews as necessary
- Handle daily, weekly and monthly stocking and cleaning duties as requested by manager
- Other duties as assigned to help fellow teammates
Maintenance:
- Safely operate necessary groundskeeping and heavy equipment such as mowers, tractors, chainsaws and other machines
- Assist in ensuring grounds are maintained and kept clean at all times
- Assist in maintaining and cleaning buildings and common areas throughout the park
- Assist in the performance of minor electrical, carpentry and plumbing work as needed
- Assist in trash collection and cleanup
- Execute honey-wagon (vacuum truck) duties when and where necessary, on a scheduled basis
- Provide guest support when needed
- Other duties as assigned to help fellow teammates
All tasks are not limited to one specific role.
We offer a competitive and diverse pay structure to accommodate all styles of employment. $10-$13 and hour PLUS a FREE campsite and utilities (25-30 hrs. per week minimum) OR $12-17 an hour with no site.
