Camp Manager, Housekeeper and Cook - Kindersley, SK

Join our team at Open Camp Lodge as we seek a dynamic working couple to fulfill the roles of Head Chef, Camp Manager, and Housekeeping Supervisor.

The ideal candidates will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences in our kitchen facility, overseeing day-to-day operations, actively participating in housekeeping duties, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout our facilities.

Camp Manager responsibilities include:

- Welcoming guests during check-ins and ensuring smooth check-out procedures

- Managing phone inquiries and providing knowledgeable responses to guest questions

- Conducting regular maintenance checks to uphold facility standards

- Actively participating in housekeeping duties to ensure a pristine environment for our guests

- Demonstrating effective leadership skills in coordinating tasks and leading a team

The Head Chef responsibilities encompass:

- Leading the kitchen's operation, including menu creation, food budgeting, costing, and ordering

- Managing kitchen staff and ensuring food safety standards are met

- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet software, and online ordering platforms is essential for this role

Qualifications for both roles:

- Proven experience in management, housekeeping, and culinary roles

- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team dynamic

- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management

- Clean criminal record and possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Relevant culinary credentials, with a preference for Red Seal certification (although not mandatory), and all necessary food safety certifications
