Camp Hosts for Wine Country Airstream Camp-Hotel - Walla Walla, WA

Seeking a friendly, high-energy camp host (individual or couple) to perform 10 hours of work per week, April 15 - Oct 15 (with some flexibility), in exchange for an RV spot with 30 AMP plug in, water, laundry and use of RV dump. The camp host’s RV must be an Airstream or similar vintage-style camper.

We are a 3.5 acre camp-hotel vacation destination with up to 6 Airstreams available for nightly rental and 2 spots for visiting Airstream or vintage trailers. We are located in Walla Walla, WA -- called “America’s Friendliest Small Town” by USA Today -- the heart of Washington wine country. We are centrally located on the grounds of the Walla Walla Airport and in easy walking distance to many wineries, breweries, distilleries, coffee shop, bakery and more. Five minutes by car (or easy biking) are grocery stores, parks, golf, theatres - everything one can expect in a small city. Our guests tend to be active couples aged 25-50 looking for good food and wine, friendly service, and a great original vacation experience.
 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• checking and changing propane tanks

• garbage management

• maintaining cleanliness of common areas

• maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas around campers

• general groundskeeping

• availability to answer questions of guest campers (generally Thurs thru Monday)

• manage waste pumping schedule

• strip rental campers of laundry and deliver to/pick up from nearby commercial facility

• general camper maintenance (ex. monthly smoke/CO2 detector check, exterior wash, etc.)

• ***A separate $paid$ contract for trailer cleaning can be negotiated if interested.
   

Our operator is local and very involved in the management of the business. “The Admiral(s)” will not be expected to manage reservations or payments, major repairs, trailer interior cleaning (unless agreed upon), move trailers, manage special events, or entertain guests beyond helping with questions on use of trailers or general inquiries.
