Camp Host(s) - Joseph, OR

We're a small park in a remote lakeside resort village looking for some help for the months of July and August. Our guests are about a 50/50 mixture of young families and retired couples, many of whom have been coming here for decades.

Duties would include some office time (ocasionally checking someone in or exchanging quarters), watering the lawn (sometimes mowing/weed-eating) and cleaning restrooms as well as sites during check-out. In exchange for a FHU 30 amp site, a couple would be expected to put in 3-5 hours worth of work (depends on how fast you go) between 9-3, 4-5 days a week, as well as keeping the radio some evenings in case a guest needs help. Schedule would be flexible and divided up weekly between ourselves (husband & wife owners), our full-time office gal and our workcampers.

We prefer couples who are active & healthy with experience work camping, who like to be outside and surrounded by nature. This place is a hiking & fishing paradise that you won't want to leave! The atmosphere here is relaxed and the job is not hard but also not sedentary! Please send a resume (informal is ok) with some references and a photo if you have one. Pets are okay but must be non-barkers and friendly (no more than 1 please). The park is full of wild deer so dogs who tend to lunge and chase are not compatible. The site we have to offer is 62' long. The dates we are looking for help would be between July 1-Aug 31.
