Camp Caretaker, - Gambier Island, BC

We are family owned childrens' camp located in the beautiful Howe Sounds about 30 minutes from Vancouver.  We are in need of a live-in caretaker  to be responsible for general maintenance and security of our buildings and grounds and rental groups.

 Applicants should be capable of carpentry, general plumbing, boat drivinng and cleaning in addition to many other maintenance duties. Also required is a high level of responsibility, dedication, self-sufficiency, honesty, ability to interact with guests in a family-friendly atmosphere. Experience in this industry is not required, but the above skills and requirements are.

Most work  with campers and rental groups will be from May - October period, winter is a great opportunity to work on small projects.  Looking for a couple to live and love camp as we do.

Ocean front lodging, wi-fi and camp ammenties provided.  A small monthly salary is included, and during rental groups and camps all food is provided.  2 weeks holidays.
