Butlers / House Managers - Aspen, CO

We are seeking Butlers / House Managers to join our team!

Property is a 10 bedroom 26,000 sq. ft. boutique lodge. Services high end rentals through out the year and one family who enjoy with friends/family for about 6-8 weeks per year. Hours range, however when guests are occuping the lodge they can be 8-12 hour days, however when the lodge is empty, flexible schedules and time off in lieu of busy times.

Responsibilities:

Greeting guests and acquainting them with the hotel's amenities.

Anticipating guests' needs and solving their problems.

Researching dining and entertainment recommendations and making reservations.

Providing directions and information about local points of interest.

Light house cleaning

May assist or be charged with keeping the household budgets and inventory supplies

May schedule and oversee vendors of contracted services.

May assist with household and family security measures.

Oversees family packing and travel preparations.

Understands social etiquette and formal service.

Assists with planning and organizing parties and events in the home.

Oversees and participates in proper table settings and entertainment prep.

Ensuring rooms and common areas meet guest standards

Maintaining the exterior of the property (spraying down patios, watering plants, leaf blowing etc.)

Walk the property daily and maintain building, light property management

Meet with vendors as needed

Troubleshooting technology or any guest issues

Assist with parking needs

Cover and uncover furniture and umbrellas on the rooftop patio daily

Assist chef to set out pastries

Washing and maintaining lodge and guests cars

Cocktail Service

Maintaining flowers in the home

Assisting with preparing any equipment needed for excursions, activities etc.

Cleaning penthouse kitchen/dishes each morning and as needed

Help with breakfast and food daily, make cocktails, snacks, etc

Manage grounds

Help owners/ guests with packing and unpacking

Help facilitate activities for owners and guests

Help with pets (owners dogs)

Housekeeping will give/share some of the outside duties ( keep the patios clean, pressure wash as much as possible, blow all entrances and patios).

Cover and uncover furniture on the rooftop patio daily

Maintaining flowers in the home

Setting table for dinner service and for other meals

Assisting with preparing any equipment needed for excursions

Cleaning kitchen/dishes each morning following dog walk

Organizing gear closet, ensure bikes, paddle boards toys are clean and in working condition

Ensure bikes charged and put away multiple times a day

Assist cleaning all areas

Organizing and charging scooters

Cars washed weekly/bi weekly + vacuumed/ detail/ gas

Maintain bikes, paddle board (cleaning and tuning/ service)

Sweeping and blowing patios daily

Nightly turndown of fireplaces and shades

Make breakfast for kids/ owners on request

Have homemade pastries/ snacks available to lodge guests

Plan and assist with Sunday breakfasts

Stock waters daily in lobby, game room, mini bar, penthouse

Airport pickup/drop off guests and owners activities

Afternoon snack spread, healthy grab and go snacks

More custom lobby refuel items/ snacks & in game room snack try or pantry filled

Uncover pool / spa daily and recover

​Qualifications:

Previous experience in hotel or residence as a butler, house manager, housekeeper or similar role

Strong attention to detail

Strong work ethic

Ability to stay motivated and busy

Ability to anticipate needs and problem solve

strong verbal and communication skills: English speaking is a must, bilingual/multilingual proficiency is a bonus.
