Back Country Ranch working couple Cook/Housekeeper/grounds keeper and Ranch hand/Hunting Guide - Cascade, ID

We are looking for an honest, hard working couple to work at a back country ranch located in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. You would be working for a Homeowners Association along side a Ranch Manager Couple. Work duties listed below.

Cook/housekeeper/groundskeeper- (Including but not limited to) Cook for a small staff, Spring bear hunters and occasionally for contractors. Clean lodge and home owner cabins. Laundry (sheets & towels). Lawn care. Building and grounds maintenance. Over see ranch during Ranch Managers time off.

Ranch hand/hunting guide- (Including but not limited to) Lawn care, irrigation and building maintenance. Care for horses and mules. Take owners and guests for horseback rides. Trail maintenance using cross cut saws, shovels and polaskis. Guide and pack for Spring bear/wolf hunts and Fall elk, deer, bear & wolf hunts. Over see ranch during Ranch Managers time off.

Work season is May 1st to the end of November with a week out every six weeks. 

Starting monthly salary (DOE) $3,400. to $4,000. Room (private one bedroom cabin with bathroom & kitchen) and Board. Flights to and from ranch.
