WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
If you enjoy living + working in a stunning outdoor setting then Teton Peaks Resort is for you! JET Hospitality is looking for energetic personalities with their own RV who will take pride in contributing to all facets of our hospitality operation. General tasks include front desk reservations, guest relations, housekeeping support, grounds and maintenance support, brand ambassadors in the community and a couple nights a week with the after hours phone. You'll be joining a team of three that includes the innkeeper who currently runs the overall lodging operation and whom you'd work alongside, on-site maintenance tech, and the best housekeeper this side of the Mississippi! We are open to individuals or a couple at this time.
We can't say enough about how amazing Teton Valley, ID is to live in. We sit smack dab between Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks that are both 1-1.5 hours away. Just out our doorstep are incredible rivers, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking at Grand Targhee, and F&B options in Driggs + Victor. Tetonia even has a local restaurant and a bar within walking distance from the property, and we have a 29-mile rail trail a few minutes walk down the road on which you can snowmobile, cross country ski, walk or bike. We enjoy spending our evenings heading to Teton River where you'll find moose hanging out 9/10 times! Jackson, WY is just over the pass from us and offers another vibrant cultural center.
Our company culture is work hard, play hard. If you have a strong work ethic and a desire to learn new things and contribute what you know to make this place shine bright, you'll thrive in our environment. We want this job to be a foundation that propels you towards pursuing your passions off the clock. Active lifestyles and folks who enjoy being part of their local community is important.
The basic physical requirements are the ability to physically walk around the five-acre property, around the lodge and RV park and climb stairs multiple times per day. The lodge is two-stories and when assisting with housekeeping or renovations tasks, we need someone who can carry armloads of supplies up and down. Due to the service nature of this industry, upbeat personalities with a desire to be friendly, patient and engaging with guests, vendors and staff are a must. You pay attention to the needs and duties of those around you, assist your coworkers, and have an ability to see the big picture of what we are all here to accomplish each day. The ability to work within a flexible job description is critical, but know that the on-site innkeeper has your back, too.
We will be adding a small mercantile of local and relative merch to our beautiful reception area in the coming weeks, too, and when you are working in the front office, you will help with that small retail space. If you enjoy photography and video, you would be welcome to contribute to marketing and social media assets, but this is not a job requirement. We want this to be a place creative outlets have a place beyond the day to day basics, and if there are areas of the business you know that you would be helpful in or have an idea about something you want to grow, speak up about that, too. It may not be what we need right away, but once we get the basics flowing smoothly, there is a lot of room for growth. Speaking of growing things, we have a greenhouse on site that would benefit from a green thumb who enjoys growing flowers, so we can put fresh-cut flowers in our guest rooms.
We are currently in a renovation and growth phase and need you to pitch in with projects when day to day responsibilities are slower. You aren't afraid to look something up online to help fix something or solve a problem. You may be asked to assemble a piece of furniture or water plants. Or maybe you don't even need to be asked! Are you getting the picture?
The unit mix features 23 guest rooms, 3 tiny homes, a future glamping village, and 22 RV sites.
Schedule may fluctuate based on the seasons but generally you'd be working 5 days, 40 hour weeks.
Compensation can vary based on experience, and includes a full hook-up site in the RV park, and free laundry facilities. Applicants need to have their own RV. Some tips are possible when helping with housekeeping.
We are currently looking for seasonal support for the high season we are ramping up to, but year-round employment is a possibility for the right candidates with flexible skill sets. The position is available immediately and needs to be filled by May 1.
